Oil Monotypes
My monotypes utilize a painterly printmaking process of painting with oils on Plexiglas, and then transferring them by hand to paper. Most of the prints shown below are part of editions of 3-5 prints. Sometimes the plates are reworked by adding more color. Other times the plate is untouched, which results in ghost images. The process is spontaneous and unpredictable, and each resulting print is unique.
